What Is The Great Commission Fund?

Who Benefits?

How Can I Give?

The Great Commission is the name given to the closing verses of the Gospel of Matthew: Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

At the very heart of the Christian and Missionary Alliance is our deep sense of call to complete the Great Commission. We are careful not to lose sight of the fact that God is at work around the globe -- advancing His Kingdom to every people, tribe and nation.

As a church we support C&MA missionaries through what is known as the Great Commission Fund. It gives churches a chance to participate directly in God’s global work, while freeing up Alliance missionaries’ time for ministry.

Who benefits from the Great Commission Fund?

Alliance missionaries do not fund-raise for themselves; instead, they are supplied directly from the Great Commission Fund through the giving of people in C&MA churches. This allows them to focus a greater portion of their time on ministry.

The Great Commission Fund also goes towards training future church leaders, planting churches domestically and globally, and supporting relief efforts worldwide through the efforts of CAMA Services (the relief ministry of the C&MA)

How can I give to the Great Commission Fund?

You can give during our Sunday worship service by designating your offering envelope to the Great Commission Fund, or you can give on-line and select the Great Commission Fund as the destination for your giving.
